DC Mac mushrooms, like other Psilocybe cubensis varieties, belong to the fungi kingdom. They are a type of hallucinogenic mushroom that contains the psychoactive compound psilocybin.

While other psilocybin mushrooms can also produce psychedelic effects, DC Mac mushrooms are among the most potent Psilocybe cubensis strains, and compared to Golden Teachers, it is a lot harder to grow them.
